Technical Terms
- 180 - Double bound keys hit quickly result in fast hairpin turn or "180", usually against arena wall
- invert - Double bound keys hit quickly can result in inverting yoru bike on itslef
- rip - known bug in game, triple invert against arena walls causes rip in grid leading to outside the arena
- paperclip - 180 into a dead end, but then 180 back to get out, looks like paperclip
- tripleturn/doubletap - you press the key one time too many in the same direction guess some would say sticky keyboard
- slingshot - tight fit between two walls/trails, nice speed bonus
- slingshot kill - even better: you've lured some poor sap into a slingshot (maybe they think they'll escape) but oh no you're ready and close the gap
- everclosing box / spiraling box - continued incremental boxing (dont forget to close it before its too late), my (n54) favourite move
- reversed box - when it goes wrong and the situation gets reversed (happens if you dont close it at the right time)
- wallcreeper - term for wall grinders
- wallhugger - term for outer wall grinders
- stalker - term for arena wall grinders
- pixelrider - when I (n54) was at nixda (a long time ago), the speed was fairly slow and we had a lot of brakes, there always seemed to be one pixel more between the tightest grinds so... but is pixelriding a myth? what do *you* think?
- lag bomber - self explanatory
- turn bombed - server bogs on multiple truning/ends up with wall slam usually
- kamikaze - some kills come at a price, must be premeditated
- rip kill - when you kill from beyond the grave
- rip victory - ... and win the game/match
- speedkill - classic kill with speed supremacy
- sandwich / sandwiched - like slingshot/slingshotkill depending
- lagslide - when lag makes you slide
- lagjump - when lag makes you jump ahead
- gridshift - when the programs repositions you on grid without touching controls (from lag usually)
- chatbot - those who don't drive but didn't disconnect (telephone call, food, whatever...)
- point fodder - a.k.a noobs (don't scare them away we all like more points)
- kazaalitis - players with 1000+ ping often suffer this dreaded illness
- death spiral - a.k.a everclosing box
- box camping - another nixda term, selfboxing on purpose (rare at armagoshdarn) selfspiralling doesn't really count as this (at least not on armagoshdarn)
- chinese box - a box in a box in a box
- grind greed & speed greed - self-explanatory

TEAM CHAT TERMS:
Sealing both sides of middle bike trail, then peeling wide to respective sides is a good general start. If you don't de-rez yourself in the process. Most importantly is don't freak when teamates get near or grind on you, use common sense and leave room for lead (sometimes sacrifical) bike to move. Variations on these basic ideas make the game more interesing but most importantly, HAVE FUN!!

The rest of keyboard depends on weither or not you are using "close keys" or a "split board". Close keys means the keys are closley grouped together, possibly for multiple players on one machine. Or, one player controlling more than one bike on one machine. Split board means you play with hands sperated on each side of keyboard for faster turns (imho).
